The wheel will buckle without spoke. It is not possible to describe the correct spoke tension. Using the spoke wrench loosen the spoke located on the side of the rim that touched the caliper and tighten the opposite spoke.
This is because loose spokes can break and cause serious damage to the wheel and rim.
Place the wheel in the vice tighten it down and turn the spoke nipple to its desired position with a wrench or screwdriver. When viewed from above nipples are turned clockwise with the spoke wrench to tighten spoke tension and counterclockwise to loosen it.
